We taken the opportunity to get to know more of our “summer
neighbors”, having coffee time, dinners, and “happy hours” with many of them.
Earlier this week, we went to Duluth
and had no reason to go to any home improvement stores – how unusual!! It seems like every past trip to either Duluth
or Virginia has meant stopping
for either tools or materials, or both.
We are about to get 3 granddaughters for another visit, this time for an extended weekend. With Labor Day coming up they are looking forward to some back-to-school shopping with Grandma (she is looking forward to it as well). After the long weekend with company, we will have about a week of quiet time here, before spending one last week in the Twin Cities area. Then we will come back here for Labor Day weekend and begin the process of closing up the cabin for the year.
Wow, looks so much nicer than I remember!
ReplyDeleteHey Bob and Paige,
ReplyDeleteWe have been meaning for a few years to contact you guys. Seems like time flies and we haven't got to it. We are retired to Garner, NC (near Raleigh) and still have a motorhome (1999 Itasca Sundancer). It appears that you are currently in Minnesota. We will be traveling up to the Minneapolis area to see old friends and Mary Ann's sister and family, and an annual CDC group reunion. We will be staying at the Minneapolis NW KOA from 9/25/13 until probably 9/30/13 when we move down to Mary Ann's sisters in Prior Lake.
Would love to get together with you two, for at least a short time, if you will be anywhere close. We tow a car, so are able to get around easily.
After a few days at Mary Ann's sister, we head down to Springfield MO where Rob and his family live, for about 5 days, then head back to NC.
